Notify

Web App

Notify is one of the first Kolosek’s open-source projects. It was created in 2016 as a test project for our developers and designers to improve their skills and play a little with a new app. It took us a month to finish it.

What is Notify, to be exact? This is a web app that monitors web pages by searching keywords and sending notifications back to the user once the search is complete. If you are not sure what we are talking about, here’s an example to clarify it. Let’s say you are waiting for an information to appear on one of the government websites. That information will most likely consist of your first and last name, as well some other. If you don’t want to check the website to see if they put the information online, you can use Notify. All you have to do is add an URL of the website you want to track and keywords一your first and last name. Pretty simple, isn’t it?

So, how does Notify work? As we have mentioned, it is easy to use一it doesn’t even require a registration. All you have to do is enter an URL you wish to follow and a keyword (or multiple keywords). Notify will send you a notification once the search is completed and keywords are found. Also, there is an option to register. By doing so, you will be able to export all the results to CSV, delete previous tasks and new ones.

Nowadays, Notify has over 1,000 of satisfied users per week. Why don’t you give it a go? Just click on Go To App button!
